SIMAD University established its Library in 1999 when SIMAD begins as an institute of management. Its main objective is to give support to the students for their academic curriculum.

- Create, maintain and develop an understanding of the library’s current & potential customer needs and to respond to them appropriately
- build up information resource collections and provide easy access to them
- Develop human resources of the library to ensure the delivery of quality services and to maintain high levels of professionalism
- Develop and implement a systematic approach to market the library and its services
- Explore the potential technology application in all areas to deliver a wide spectrum of excellent information resources
- Establish and develop relations with organizations within and worldwide to share resources, enhance productivity
- Evaluate and acquire effective library management system
