SomaliREN is a member of Ubuntu Alliance, a sub-regional backbone network in Eastern and Southern Africa connecting National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) to each other and to similar networks on other continents via GEANT, the European research and education backbone network.
SU is a member of Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) which is the association of the Arab region National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) and strategic partners, that aim to implement, manage and extend sustainable Pan-Arab e-Infrastructures dedicated for the Research and Education communities and to boost scientific research and cooperation in member countries through the provision of world-class e-Infrastructures and e-Services.
The Dhoobaale library is equipped with more than 15,000 print materials in a wide range of fields. The library has an environment conducive to both quiet individual study and collaborative learning.
