Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Dean of admission and record office of SIMAD University attended the 37th round of the Arab Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers Organization (ACRAO) which was held in Egypt and hosted by Zewail City of Science and Technology on 1-5 April 2018
This year, the round was titled “Registrars and Admissions between Globalization Courses and National Methodologies: Innovation and Development”.
Dr. Ahmed who spoke during the session shared with the participants about how SIMAD University practices the registrar and admission policies, in addition, he stated the university’s plans in the coming years about developing and improving the registrar and admission strategies of the university.
The conference was attended by more than thirty-five universities from Arab universities and delegations from Malaysia to exchange experiences and information on admission and registration and to establish a cooperative relationship with all the universities that participated in the conference.
During the summit, 25 research papers and workshops were presented. The conference's research was characterized by its evolutionary directives in the field of admission and registration in Arab universities, as well as the exchange of experiences and distinctive practices in the field of admission and registration.
SIMAD University has recently participated the 3rd Higher Education Congress and Eurasia Higher Education Summit in Turkey and signed a MoU with 9 Universities based in Turkey, in addition, the university has signed a MoU with the Vaal University of technology situated in South Africa on February 21, 2018 and This is another bold step to build strategic partnerships with the international universities and educational associations.
