Disability-inclusive education has always been a major concern for educational institutions. Students with disabilities have been facing many challenges, including access to learning and education. Are there ways in which higher educational Institutions in Somalia can develop a disability-inclusive education system?
Here is a new study led by our faculty member, Eng. Ali Olow Jim’ale, which proposes an implementation of assistive technology tailored especially for educational institutions in Somalia that consists of the several components required to create a proper communication environment needed for deaf, blind, and dysgraphia students.
