Engineer Mohamed Mohamud Mohamed is currently the deputy rector of Academics at SIMAD University, he joined the university in 2004. Eng. Mohamed completed His Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Firat University, Elazig Turkey in 2015. He was nominated as deputy rector of institutional development in February 2017 by SU rector with the consent of the Senate.
Now he is engaged in many roles including:
- Making the academic activities of the university as smooth as possible by Planning and revising necessary academic policies, supervising the overall academic activities of the university, and Liaison the academic organ to other organs of the university.
- He previously served many different positions at the university. Those positions were:
- Dean Faculty of Engineering
- Director at CEMED center
- Deputy Director at CEMED center
- Lab Officer
